Who runs GretnaHub?

GretnaHub is a service of the Gretna Public Library.

How will my personal information be used?

Because GretnaHub is a service of the Gretna Public Library, your information will be kept both safe and private.

A GretnaHub librarian moderator will use your information to notify you of your submission’s status, or to seek clarification or for more information.

If you are becoming a GretnaHub organization, LocalHop will only be given your first and last name, organization’s name, and your email address.

You will be contacted via the [email protected] and/or the [email protected] email addresses.

How fast will my submission be posted?

We will strive to be as efficient with processing submissions as possible.

The initial goal is to have them posted within seven business days of submission.

Hopefully, after GretnaHub has been available for a few months, we will update this timeframe to be a more accurate estimate.

Images

Are there image dimension/resolution requirements?

Yes. The acceptable dimensions are 1200 X 675 px, with a minimum dpi of 300.

Exceptions may be made at the discretion of either a GretnaHub moderator, or the Gretna Public Library Board.

The only image I have is for an 8.5″ X 11″ flyer. Can this be used for the image?

This size will not be used for GretnaHub community calendar.

However, a GretnaHub moderator will either edit/modify the flyer to the appropriate dimensions (1200 X 675 px at 300 dpi), or use a generic event category image.

I don’t have an image. Can I still submit my event?

Yes.

A generic category-themed image, or other image created by a GretnaHub moderator may be used.

Yard/Estate Sales

Can I submit my garage sale?

Yes, garage sales fall under the category of “Yard/Estate Sales.”

I have an Omaha address, but my child goes to a Gretna school: can my yard sale be on the GretnaHub calendar?

If your address is within the Gretna School District boundaries, then you may submit your yard sale.

Currently we will only accept submissions for sales with properties within the 68028 or 68136 zip codes.
